Nestled in the vibrant heart of Bradford, International Restaurant Bradford offers an authentic Indian dining experience that tantalizes the senses and delights the palate. This esteemed establishment, located at 40-42 Mannville Terrace on Morley Street, is a culinary gem favored by locals and visitors alike, especially those seeking rich, flavourful curries paired with warm hospitality.
The restaurant’s menu brims with thoughtfully crafted dishes showcasing traditional Indian cuisine with a distinctive international twist. Seafood enthusiasts will appreciate starters like the Masala Fish, where freshly caught fish is marinated in a blend of global spices and deep-fried to perfection, delivering a crispy yet tender bite. For prawn lovers, the King Prawn Tikka offers a medium-spiced, chargrilled delight, with fresh tiger prawns enveloped in aromatic spices that burst in every mouthful. The Fish Pakora complements the selection beautifully, featuring a special batter that crisps to golden perfection while locking in juicy fish flavors.
For those leaning towards milder, creamier options, the International Dedicated Mild Dishes category shines. The Chicken Tikka Makhani, with its luscious combination of fresh cream, pistachios, almonds, and tangy mango chutney, is a sublime example—a harmony of sweet and savory notes that feel like a comforting embrace with every bite. Similarly, the Chicken Vensi offers tender chicken tikka bathed in a delicate cream sauce, garnished with fresh coriander, leaving a smooth, fragrant finish on the palate.
Old school curry aficionados will find solace in the classic range of kormas, rogan joshes, bhunas, and dansaks—each dish lovingly prepared to respect tradition while delivering impeccable depth of flavor. Whether it’s the tender Lamb Rogan Josh rich with a hearty spice blend, or the indulgently creamy Vegetable Korma, every dish tells a story of culinary heritage.
The ambiance at International Restaurant Bradford complements the dining experience perfectly. Guests frequently praise the stunning interior, which manages to feel both welcoming and elegant, creating an inviting backdrop for family dinners, pre-theatre meals, or casual get-togethers. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff elevate every visit, ensuring that diners feel valued and well cared for, as echoed by many returning customers from near and far.
Regular patrons and first-time visitors alike have raved about the impeccable service and superb quality of food. Stuart, a recent guest, commended the restaurant for its “delicious meal with prompt, polite and helpful service all delivered at an extremely competitive price.” Others, like Hong Lee, appreciate it as the ideal spot for pre- or post-show dining, thanks to its proximity to Bradford’s popular entertainment venues such as the Alhambra Theatre and IMAX cinema. The food consistently earns praise for its robust, well-balanced spice levels and generous portions that leave you feeling fully satisfied.
While the bustling atmosphere at peak times can sometimes create a lively buzz near the entrance, it’s testament to the restaurant’s popularity and vibrant customer base. Despite the crowd, many guests including Harvey deem the experience “amazing” and return time and again, cementing International Restaurant Bradford’s status as a local favorite.
In summary, International Restaurant Bradford is a destination where the magic of Indian cuisine unfolds with every dish—whether it’s crispy, spice-kissed seafood starters, velvety, nut-infused mild curries, or timeless classics done with remarkable flair. Its prime location, coupled with warm service and a convivial atmosphere, makes it an essential stop for anyone craving an exceptional Indian meal in the heart of the city.

For those searching for an absolute delicious meal with prompt, polite and helpful service all delivered at an extremely competitive price then I'd thoroughly recommend International Restaurant. We were visiting The Alhambra Theatre, just a 5 minute walk away, for the evening so booked here on the off chance. We we'll definitely be back, really is beautiful food. Our only slight reservation was the piped music was just a tad too loud but all in all a great experience.

International Curry Restaurant Bradford - A Must-Visit! I recently had the pleasure of dining at International Curry Restaurant in Bradford and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the aroma of spices promised an authentic experience, and it certainly delivered. We tried a variety of dishes, both of which were incredibly flavorful and perfectly spiced. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food received. The service was excellent Adam looked after us. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it ideal for both a casual meal and a special occasion. If you're in Bradford and craving a delicious and authentic curry, I highly recommend International Curry Restaurant. It's a true gem!

We often visit the center of Bradford to catch a show at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford Live and St George's Hall or watch a film at the IMAX cinema. Recently we have been going for pre and after show meals at the fantastic International Restaurant nearby at Morley Street, which in my opinion serves the best curries in the center of Bradford. Their curries are made with quality ingredients, are packed full of flavour and the different curries all have distinctly unique spices and sauces, unlike a lot of curry houses that use a couple of base sauces for all their curries. Our go to favourite starter is the International House Mix grilled meats platter with perfectly grilled masalla fish, chicken tikka boti, lamb chop & lamb seekh kabab, all having a delicious chargrilled flavour served on a bed of succulent caramelised onions. My favourite curry is the lamb masala with soft, juicy, tender pieces of lamb in a deep, rich, delicious, mildly spiced masala sauce. My wife's favourite curry is the Keema Mutter Karahi - minced meat and peas cooked in delicious deep, rich karahi sauce. We have fragrant, fluffy boiled rice and some freshly made soft chapattis to go with our curries . The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol but customers can bring their own alcoholic drinks. Understandably the restaurant is very busy so booking a table in advance is advisable. The staff are very friendly & helpful and the portions are very generous - we usually end up taking food from our meal home with us to enjoy the next day. There is also another International restaurant on the outskirts of Bradford on Sticker Lane, which serves the same menu, and is just as good as the one in the center of Bradford

Food was amazing but gave 4 stars for the atmosphere due to a crowd of people forming near the door at peak times. It doesn't seem to be handled well at all, resulting in a lot of people (who are waiting for tables) to just stand around the tables near the entrance, staring at people eating their meals. Other than that amazing place. Been a few times now and has become the new regular place to visit for a curry in Bradford - travelled over from other side of manchester.

One of top places in the uk for curry’s or Asian food in general. The place is very well looked after, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The service is second to none. Have been going here for years and will continue to

Very popular, even for a Monday evening. Bookings and walk- ins accommodated. Best to book. Ensure that you remember what you've ordered because the waiters arrive with plates and ask who ordered what. Well cooked and flavoursome. Classic dishes and International specials. Time at the table is limited so don't expect a leisurely evening. It's Indian rather than Halal. Don't get enthusiastically over-ordering the naans. They're huge and one would provide for two generously, three adequately and four just about if you've had starters and rice.
